Common mistakes:

  • when outleaping the heels are not abutted to the floor (tiptoe support)

Correct execution:

  • when outleaping the foot shall be fully abutted to the floor. Outleaping shall be  carried out by powerful jerk.

Jackknife
Common mistakes:

  • the body is not raised synchronously with legs

Correct execution:

  • body and legs shall be raised simultaneously
  • stretch arms forth to the toes
  • exhale during body and legs rise

Mistake:

  • elbow is not directly under the shoulder joint
  • waist is bent
  • pelvis is raised

Correct execution:

  • keep body straight
  • elbow is directly under the shoulder joint
  • do not hold breath
